With an airline as our parent company, we know how essential continuous operations are for your business. This is why we keep your aircraft's downtime to a minimum. With a mean average of four days per aircraft, we are your partner for fast integration of high-speed connectivity technology into any fleet size. In addition, you benefit from operations-optimized solutions as well as minimum intervention in the aircraft structure.

Regardless of whether you want to equip a big fleet or a single aircraft with the latest on-board connectivity systems we provide fast integration. We have the capacity to install all the necessary equipment in up to ten aircraft simultaneously - during a regular check or special layover. If desired, even on-site - wherever you are located.

While previous installations were mostly based on non-optimized connectivity hardware, current component and system integration is optimized for even faster installation. Our impressive learning curve has enabled us to work with a wide variety of connectivity hardware providers so as to ensure even less downtime for aircraft.

We adapt completely to suit your requirements - and make sure our solutions are perfectly customized to your aircraft or desired communication technology. We take care of everything - from air-to-ground solutions and satellite via Ka- or Ku-band right through to the interaction between systems. Always striving for minimal intervention in the aircraft structure, our engineers designed an even better solution than ARINC 791. Moreover, they are weight-optimized, designed for simple maintenance and allow for subsequent modifications. In case of lease returns, de-installation can easily be completed without any re-skinning or structural work.

Furthermore, you can rely on our experience in large-scale modification programs. We can modify any size of fleet – we advise you from planning right through to the final hand-over based on our professional expertise. We can perform the installation as part of a regular check or as a special layover - in either case with minimum down-time. And, if you wish, we can even perform the layover at your site.

Perfectly equipped in any case

Our logistics specialists are at your service in 21 countries - from ordering and storing spare parts to handling all the customs formalities and transporting high-value shipments complete with personal escort. Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services is one of the few companies certified to EN 9120 (Aerospace series, Quality Management Systems, Requirements for Stockist Distributors) as a single company for all its European sites. This means that you as the customer can rest assured that all the necessary quality standards are adhered to at every site.

Draw your resources from our large components pool. We own, maintain and administer local stocks at airports all over the world, which enables us to provide components quickly and easily. Participating in a pool means sharing an inventory of spare parts with other operators, which is very cost-efficient while maintaining a high level of component availability.
