Partnership

Your partner for connected aviation

Expertise

Draw profit from our expertise

What makes us the perfect partner for connectivity solutions and MRO services? First and foremost, our lengthy experience and strong business relations in the aviation industry. More than 800 international customers rely on our expertise. Our customer base includes regional start-ups, small and mid-sized carriers, legacy airlines that operate around the world, and even private and government aircraft. So we know from experience that a one-size-fits-all solution is no solution at all. After all, there's a big difference between flying just a few aircraft and owning a major legacy airline that is planning a fleet rollover.

To keep your operations running, we work across a global network. We provide line maintenance at around 60 international and eleven German stations and base maintenance at ten locations. Our subsidiaries stretch from Sun Valley to Shenzhen and with Inmarsat as one of our main collaborators for connectivity solutions, we even have a partner in space. Local support is available almost anywhere in the world - with customized solutions for every partner.

Aircraft Modification

A breath of fresh air for your business

With our Aircraft Modification business unit you have got the perfect partner at your side: We share our expertise and provide one-stop support for the entire process involved in any modification program, covering areas such as cabin & structures, cockpit modification and inflight communication & entertainment. Our aircraft modification specialists can help analyze the most suitable options – whether this means simply adjusting the seat pitch, a major change in the cabin layout, or improving passengers' in-flight experience by offering the latest connectivity solutions.

Expertise and experience

Our experience helped us play a pioneering role in installing the current FlyNet portal on Lufthansa's long-haul fleet. Our Aircraft Modification unit is currently the partner of choice when it comes to bringing connectivity onboard narrow-body aircraft. Partnered with Lufthansa Systems and their BordConnect system, we are optimally positioned to meet the rapidly increasing demand for wireless internet connections on short- and medium-haul flights.

2003

Since 2003, we equip aircraft with connectivity solutions. Lufthansa was the first airline providing Wi-Fi on long-haul flights. From the first airborne hotspot until now, Lufthansa still maintains the largest international long-haul fleet with internet access. And as broadband internet learned to fly with us, we gained more and more experience with various systems and are proud to have remained the first choice for installing satellite communication technologies ever since.

2014

Within only two years, we provided Lufthansa's entire fleet of 80 long-haul aircraft with a cutting-edge cabin design that also included an all-new in-flight entertainment system. Lufthansa is thus the first airline in the world to have equipped its entire long-haul fleet with broadband technology.

2016

The installation program of broadband technology in the continental fleets of Lufthansa, Eurowings and Austrian Airlines is the first of its kind – in general and especially for Lufthansa, as the first network airline in Europe to offer broadband internet on-board short- and medium-haul flights. The new service is based on state-of-the-art broadband satellite technology and offers seamless, reliable coverage.
